Hey, folks: It has come to my attention that de finkibus, our blog dedicated to child idolatry, has increasingly become a platform for advertising various and sundry products of . . . shall we say, questionable taste and value. Blog spam, or "spamdexing," is on the rise across the net. Many of
you may have noticed the "compliments" on our site posted in the comments section, usually with a discreet hyperlink at the bottom of the page. In order to prevent these sub-human chips of cosmic excrement from profiting off of the irritation of my readers and possibly even luring some of the less wary into purchasing pharmaceuticals of dubious origin, de finkibus will hereby require a simple word identification test in order to screen out comments posted by adverbots. I apologize for the inconvenience and trust you will continue to grace our page with your thoughts and responses.

Well, we're back. It's been a while since there's been anything new on the blog, and I'm sure many of you are wondering whether we may have fallen off the face of the earth. In fact, however, we've been up north in Minnesota for a wedding and a rather lengthy stay with family. Now that we're back to the land of high heat and apalling humidity we'll doubtless be spending a good more time indoors, so we shall endeavor to make up for the lack of photos. The wedding photos aren't in yet, but in the meantime we've plenty of pictures of our little munchkin. Surprise? I think not.

GPoD: 6.2.2006
Last night Graham began the transition from baby jammies to Big Boy Pajamas. The difference? Two pieces, no feet. Of course, this means lots of extra working getting dressed and socks must be donned on cold nights, but just think of the advantages to be had when potty training begins.
