Call it
yuppie bling if you like, but this summer we decided it was high time we remodel our bathroom. You see, the old bathroom had a pink tub. Yes, pink. For those of you who havent' seen it. I'm sure it was fashionable once upon a time. In a galaxay far, far away. But we're hoping to be selling this house in another year or two, so the pink tub had to go. And that tan tile flecked with gold speckles. And the cheap linoleum floor. And especially what was under said floor: rot. Lots and lots of dry rot. So, for the last two weeks, I've been slaving away at completely gutting and rebuilding the bathroom. I had lots of help from my dad, who was down here for ten days pouring his sweat into the value of our home. And here it is--the finished product. But how about some "before" shots first....

Yes, even Graham recognizes how absurd it is to bathe in a pink tub.
And here is the "after"--voila!

After replacing the subfloor and reinforcing the joists, there is now little likelihood of anyone falling through the floor when seated upon the throne.
