We've had an eventful week here. Saturday and Sunday Graham was throwing up with the flu, Tuesday morning it hit me, Wednesday it hit Dad, Thursday Mom went down, and Thursday night David got it. Dad was the only one to bounce back within 12 hours - probably because he eats so healthy. Thankfully the girls seem to have avoided it so far. Monday night we were entertained by the news report that Durham was to see 1 - 3 inches of snow. At one point the newscaster, standing outside, declared that he would probably have to stop talking soon as his lips were going to freeze because the temperature had dipped to 27. It was pretty entertaining. We did get snow Monday night and Tuesday. Durham schools were closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday they started two hours late because there was still a little snow on the ground. I know this isn't exactly the winter retreat that Mom and Dad had in mind when they decided to come here for a few weeks! Let's hope next week we're healthy and warm!
