Outside

Daddy blew bubbles with the kids when he got home from work last night. They loved it!

All three love the forts that we make in the living room. New forts are built daily!

Our patio is covered with acorns. As soon as the girls are put down, they put acorns in their mouths and I spend the next ten minutes taking them out until they get tired of the game.

Graham takes his sisters out for a spin often. He's a great driver!

If you're happy and you know it...

waiting

The kids were getting antsy waiting for David to come and eat cheesecake, so they formed a drumline to pass the time.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

We met David at a park halfway between our home and Pope Air Force Base to celebrate his birthday.

Inga was so excited to see the birthday candle!

David's traditional birthday cake is cheesecake, but I didn't think it could make the hour drive. A marshmallow brownie creation stood in its place, while turtle cheesecake waits in the fridge for David to return today.

The kids made David a good luck t-shirt to wear under his test-taking, dissertation-defending, interview-nailing clothes. It's going to be a busy few months!

David loved the moose pj pants that Paul and Peggy sent. Graham loved them even more!

And then we played

and played

and played.

Graham helped navigate on our trip home.
Happy birthday, David! We are so happy that we got to see you!

Silly Bea

Bea is a sweet, silly little girl. She has started to understand why nonsense things are funny (feeding us goldfish, giving Daddy her nuk, etc). She laughs a lot and almost always has at least one foot up at the table. We love you, sweet Bea!
