Adam's wedding day!

 

 

Adam and Beth are getting married today! Graham hit it off with the flower girl last night whose personality was remarkably similar to his good friend Ava's. Despite being nine months younger, she is a 'I'm in charge so let's be silly together' sort of girl who asked her mom numerous times when it was her turn to kiss Graham. Graham loved practicing his ringbearer skills and is so excited to wear his tux today. We are excited to see him make it down the aisle, and even more excited to officially welcome Beth to our family when Adam marries his best friend.

Lazy Sunday

We had a quiet Sunday at Bop and Gaga's. It was a perfect day: 73 and sunny. We went down the street to a nearby park in an effort to wear the kids out before naptime. Naps were rejected so Bop and Graham cracked pecans to make granola instead.

Welcome, baby Elijah!

Graham, Bea, and Inga have a new baby cousin! We welcomed him with a sign in Grandma and Fink's front yard. We are excited to move to IL so that we can meet you, baby Elijah!

Last night was filled with kisses from Rosie, sailing the high seas with Fink, and Graham's first root beer float!

Temporary housing

With the close of our Durham house today we are now officially homeless until we close on our new house at the end of the month. This is the view from my parents' sunroom. Considering all of the temporary housing options out there for a family of five, I think we're pretty blessed.

Fun with uncle Adam and uncle Aaron

Daddy is gone in Texas for two weeks and the kids miss him A LOT. Good thing Uncle Adam and Uncle Aaron are here to provide some entertainment!

Memorial Day

We spent the day at Fink and Grandma's house. We had a great day playing outside, eating popsicles, peeking through the banister, and helping Fink with the sailboat. It was a busy day!

Memorial Day Parade

We attended Bayport's Memorial Day parade this morning. It was similar to the Rougemont, NC parades the kids are used to: horses, firetrucks, marching bands, and hard bubble gum candy. There were some definite differences though. Bayport's parade actually started right on time. There were no hillbilly wagons and a noticeable lack of rifles. Over all, the kids really enjoyed it.

Inga waited patiently for the parade to begin.
