Hunter Safety

I hate to be political on this family-friendly blog of mine. But this is hilarious. Don may have to incorporate this little gem into future firearm safety classes....

Look who's sitting up in the tub all by himself (almost).

The GrahamCam: No More Bananas!

We discovered this morning that Graham does not like bananas. Note the sullen expression throughout the feeding, the gag, and the spitting. We didn't make him eat the rest. Who ever heard of a kid who likes beans but despises bananas. Therapy begins next week.

Playing with Mommy

GPoD: 2.18.2006

Here's Graham playing with his new Winnie the Pooh musical honey pot from his Grandmother Fink. Fortunately for his parents, there is no actual honey inside.

By Request....

Auntie Em has been asking for a shot comparing Graham and Uncle Adam. Well, here it is. Who's the knuckle-dragger in this photo?

Here is some entertaining footage of Graham sitting up on his own. For a while, at least.

Happy Half-Birthday, Graham!

Half a year already? Where has the time gone? And where has my hair gone?

Bono Preaches at the National Prayer Breakfast

Bono is onto something: Charity is not optional. Of course, in our culture we tend to think of it as precisely this--something we do over and above the call of duty. Jesus, however, saw things differently. The whole law hangs on two commandments: we are commanded to love God and our neighbors. And this, of course, is what charity (latin, caritas) is--love. Bono (the lead singer from the band U2) preached a powerful message to this effect at the National Prayer Breakfast this week. It's well worth the read.

It was 71 degrees here in Durham today. Here's Graham waking up after a nice little stroller siesta.
