Happy Halloween!

Graham and David carved our pumpkin this afternoon

Bea and Inga watched the carving, but became bored in their seats. The squealing-under-the-table game was much more appealing.

Trick-or-treat!

Bea and Inga each had their first suckers tonight. They were a hit - and a very sticky mess!

Here's Graham, face full of chocolate, asking for just one more piece. My favorite bargaining quote of the night: "Mama! This one (pulling out a bag of skittles) would be PERFECT! There is no sugar in this kind, mama!" And so I gave in. 'Cause Halloween comes but once a year.

Piggies

Bea and Inga's hair is finally long enough for small pigtails. I love having little girls!

Fall Festival

In lieu of a traditional Cubbies meeting tonight, Graham's Awana church hosted a fall festival.

There was a bounce house,

a funny scarecrow,

two relatively well-behaved m&m sisters,

a fishing game in the exact style of Pollyanna,

a green m&m boy who concentrated hard (notice the fishface - dead giveaway),

a plink-o game,

and TONS of candy. It was a great festival!

Halloween preview

We finished the Halloween costumes on Friday and our three little m&m sweeties are ready for trick-or-treating!

Church Picnic

We went to Camp Chestnut Ridge for our church's annual fall picnic this evening. It was a perfect night: hayrides, fall colors, good food, and lots of sand to play in.
