We met David at a park halfway between our home and Pope Air Force Base to celebrate his birthday.
Inga was so excited to see the birthday candle!
David's traditional birthday cake is cheesecake, but I didn't think it could make the hour drive. A marshmallow brownie creation stood in its place, while turtle cheesecake waits in the fridge for David to return today.
The kids made David a good luck t-shirt to wear under his test-taking, dissertation-defending, interview-nailing clothes. It's going to be a busy few months!
David loved the moose pj pants that Paul and Peggy sent. Graham loved them even more!
And then we played
and played
and played.
Graham helped navigate on our trip home.

Glad that you all managed to get together over the weekend for Davids birthday.
Also how exciting to see Graham taking the role of navigation even if the map was upside down. Its a start.
