Beautiful weekend

After six weeks in the shop, my camera is back!  It was David's birthday weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our outings and the weather.  Saturday we went to see Annie at the Gunter theater in Greenville.  The kids were mesmerized and we enjoyed it, too.  Today after church we drove an hour west and put our little boat in at Lake Keowee.  We motored around the lake, found a nice sandy island for digging and swimming, and found a place to picnic.  All in all, a fabulous weekend!
Happy birthday, Daddy!  Thanks, Kiki, for celebrating with us!
The kids played in the boat a few days before we took it out on the water.

It may have been the smallest, slowest boat on the lake, but our little motor boat made for a great afternoon!  I think we need to name our boat...

More sand, fewer clothes, and a really warm lake
Yes, Minnesotans, it's a man-made lake.  Yes, it's much less clear than Lake Pokegama.  But it's also much, much warmer, and there are mountain views!
