This last weekend I was wandering around in the woods behind our house when I noticed that large red oak tree had died. Sad as I was to lose this beautiful tree, I lost no time in getting out my chainsaw and adding substantially to my woodpile. I probably won't burn this stuff till next year, but it's good to have one's fuel supply in such good shape. Just look at that beautiful wood. There's no more enjoyable way to spend an afternoon than out in the woods (in moderate temperatures, of course) imbibing the mixed aromas of 2-cycle engine exhaust and fresh wood chips. Bumpa would have loved it.
