Playing at the Eno

I love Thursdays. Thursdays mean that it's almost the weekend. It's also The Office night, which often means The Office and wine night with David, which is lovely. And during the school year, it's womens' Bible study morning, which translates to two and a half glorious hours of singing, learning, talking, eating breakfasty things, and drinking coffee, all without children. More than one mom started to panic as the year drew to an end; what would we do without our mornings together? And so began the summer playgroup idea. Each week, a mom 'hosts' a playgroup at a local park and sends out an email to let all the rest of us know where to meet. Today we met at the Eno River State Park to play in the shallow waters and chat. Graham loved playing in the water and dumping it down the bank. I enjoyed catching up with friends and getting out of the house. I can't wait until next Thursday!
